Raw Fish – a number of Poke restaurants have opened up in London and this is a great alternative to Sushi and ceviche – think this will be a rising trend in 2017. Originating from Hawaii, Poke (POH-keh) is a selection of raw cubed fish – seasoned anyway you want it – and traditionally served on its own or over a bowl of sushi rice.
The clean-eating brigade continues to make strides – sorry! Watermelon Juice will be a big thing next year, Beyonce’s bought into a watermelon juice company which will begin to be marketed widely over here in 2017.
Cocktails, infused with perfume are on the rise too. Tanqueray have been experimenting here in the capital and at the Ritz Carlton in Berlin they’ve got a bar dedicated to them. Giorgio Armani, Bulgari and Guerlain are the inspiration for unique drinks created by their bar manager. Expect to see more on the menu here in the UK in 2017
